Description

The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, bonds, licenses, insurance, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees to Repair and provide periodic preventative maintenance and lift testing certifications for multiple industrial cranes. All work shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bid submissions shall be emailed to PWC@cmd.ca.gov and shall include the Contracting Administrator listed in this IFB as a copied recipient. Subject line must include the IFB No. 126510, Crane Repair & Preventative Maintenance Service and Contractor Business Name. Bidders are not required to visit the worksite. Bidders are responsible for satisfying themselves as to the local conditions, to accurately measure area and ensure the actual area of work for the preparation of their bid. Contractors bidding without visiting the worksite, do so at their own risk. Bidders can schedule a worksite visit by contacting CPT Max Montellano at Max.Montellano@cmd.ca.gov. In fairness to all bidders in the competitive process, contractors shall not have the opportunity to adjust their price after proposal submission. Contractors must account for cost fluctuation and material logistics in the market when bidding. The prime contractor MUST possess a type D-21 - Machinery and Pumps and/or B- General Contractors license. All questions regarding this IFB MUST be submitted to Robert Hawkins at Robert.Hawkins@cmd.ca.gov no later than 5:00 PM on 3/18/2026. Email subject lines must reference IFB No. 126510. If an addendum is necessary, it will be issued prior to the Bid Submission Deadline. The bid opening will be held on 4/1/2026 at 2:15 PM.
