Whiting Field SPE600-17-C-5037GOCO Alongside Aircraft Refueling and/ Fuel Storage Services

NOTICE OF INTENT TO EXTEND CURRENT CONTRACT (SPE600-17-C-5037) to Maytag Aircraft LLC (6B700) 6145 Lehman Dr. Colorado Springs CO 80918-3440.  The proposed procurement is for services that the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.103-1(b). DLA Energy plans to extend the current firm-fixed-price contract to the incumbent for a period of 12 months. The performance period will be June 1, 2026, through May 31, 2027. The contract will be subject to FAR 52.222-41 Service Contract Labor Standards.

DLA Energy, Bulk Petroleum Services Business Unit-FESAB has a current contract in place to provide Government-Owned Contractor-Operated (GOCO) Aircraft/Ground Fuel services and Fuel Storage and Distribution at NAS Whiting Field, FL; to provide the services of procuring, receipt, and handling and issue of DLA Energy Fuel Products. This includes services for the operation, maintenance, product quality surveillance, inventory control and accounting, security, safety, and environmental protection to provide retail/bulk fuel services security, and safety of Government retail/bulk fuel services and facilities at NAS Whiting Field, FL.

The incumbent Contractor is also required to provide the following:

Furnish, manage, maintain, and operate all mobile fuel servicing equipment required and necessary to support the facilities, equipment, vehicles, vessels, and assigned aircrafts. The SP shall provide Aviation Fuel Servicing Operations, Bulk Storage Operations and Ground Fuel Servicing Operations. The SP shall have the flexibility to provide 24 hour/7 days a week, uninterrupted services in the Pensacola Region to include all outlying fields. The SP shall ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and is responsible for obtaining copies of them, including future changes. The SP shall be responsible for and furnish, as required, all technical support, personnel, supervision, equipment, tools, and other items as required.
