Description

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE for a Market Research ONLY to determine the availability of small business firms for a potential small business category type set-aside. NO AWARD will be made from this Sources Sought. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. The purpose of this NOTICE is to gain knowledge of potential small business sources to include small business in the following categories: Small Business, Certified 8a, Certified HUB Zone, and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), for a Service Contract for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), San FranciscoDistrict.The capabilities will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining to Set-Aside for the Small Business Community or to conduct as an Other Than Small Business Procurement. Other than small businesses may respond to this NOTICE in the event the market does not indicate SB interest, however, preference will be given to the SB categories listed above. The government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of available contractors. This project is planned for advertising around Mid April 2026. The NAICS Code is 561730, Landscaping Services, and the Product Service Code is S208 Housekeeping – Landscaping/Groundskeeping Services. A Firm Fixed Price for a Base year and two option years are anticipated. PROJECT DESCRIPTION:The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, transportation, and supervision to perform grounds maintenance services at Lake Mendocino Recreation Area.Refuse Receptacles: All refuse receptacles (including doggie pots) will be completely emptied on the days specified. The contractor shall remove all trash and refuse in each receptacle and also any refuse within a 60-foot radius regardless of its volume, type, or source of origin. Campsite maintenance services and Picnic/day-use area maintenance services:• Each campsite picnic table will be completely cleaned of all refuse, food products and other debris. • All graffiti will be removed with graffiti remover.• Each fire ring/grill will be completely cleaned of all ashes, debris, trash, and other refuse.   • Litter in each campsite will be picked up on each scheduled day, 60 feet in all directions from the campsites picnic unit or the campsites fire ring.•All shelter eaves, steel supports, recesses, and ceilings will be cleaned to remove tape, wrappers, paper, food, ribbon and any other refuse present. The slabs will be swept or air blown and rinsed if necessary to remove any debris or food. Unscheduled Services: Respond to clean the day-use areas, campgrounds or empty refuse cans in the event of an emergency.PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Lake Mendocino is located on the east fork of the Russian River approximately five (5) miles north of Ukiah, California in the county of Mendocino. The developed recreation areas comprise nearly 450 acres of the parks total 1,330 land acres. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE Please provide in your responseto the following. The submission is limited to no more than 5 pages.1.
