Description

The US Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District intends to award a firm-fixed-price (FFP) base-plus-three-option-years’ service contract for solid waste collection and disposal at Lucky Peak Dam and Lake boundary located in Ada and Boise Counties, Idaho. The results of this request will be used to develop the acquisition strategy.

THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. Walla Walla District is seeking businesses interested in and capable of the services required. Firms who respond are requested to submit the following information, which will be used in determining whether to set aside this requirement. Please do not respond to this notice unless you will be responding to the solicitation. A draft copy of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached.

Eligibility

Contractors must be properly registered in the Government System for Award Management database (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220, or via the Internet at www.sam.gov.

The applicable NAICS for this requirement is 562111 – Solid Waste Collection, with a small business size standard of $47M. At this time, the Government has not determined whether a full and open competition will occur.

Capability Statement and Requested Information

Please provide a Capability Statement and include the following information:

  1. Name of firm with address, phone, and point of contact.
  2. SAM Unique Entity ID (UEI) and CAGE code.
  3. Business classification, e.g., Small Business (SB), Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Small Business, 8(a) Business Development Program participant, or Other Than Small Business (large business). IF YOUR FIRM IS A LARGE BUSINESS, please indicate the approximate percentage of the work that you would expect to subcontract to small business concerns.
  4. Please provide any general questions or clarifications regarding this requirement.
