Description
Future Purchase of portable dehumidifiers
Dehumidifiers shall meet or exceed the following specifications and salient characteristics which are similar or equal to a TABYIK model CS50-SR dehumidifier:
1. Usage: Units will be utilized in a standard military barracks room.
2. Portable: Units shall be compact in design with a minimal over-all size and footprint that meet the requirements as spelled out in this document. They must be easily relocatable with little or no effort. Casters are preferred; however, wheels are acceptable.
3. Physical Features: The height of the unit should not exceed 21”. The units should be white or black in color.
4. Power Requirements: Units must be 110/120 VAC and work in a standard wall outlet with an American standard three prong outlet with a ground.
5. Required Operational Features:
- Extracts at least 35 pints of water per 24 hours
- Must have an external drainage connection and included drainage hose of at least 10 ft
- Must have an internal pump and capability to automatically drain the collected water into an elevated sink
- Auto shutoff that prevents overflow
- Handle(s) and wheels for easy portability
- ENERGY-STAR certified
