Description
The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is conducting market research to find any potential small businesses that can provide industrial crane removal services in support of our nation's Naval mission. In accordance with RFO FAR 15.101(c), the Government does not intend to award a contract based on the sources sought notice or otherwise pay for the information requested and responses will be treated as information only and not as a proposal. This notice is for market research purposes only.
Please review the attached Statement of Work and support documents for details of the upcoming requirement.
- The industrial crane removal services to be performed at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard located in Kittery, ME 03904.
- Period of Performance: Base 05/1/2026 – 07/1/2026 (2 months)
If this is a service, you can provide and would like the opportunity to quote on. The market research information collected resulting from this Sources Sought Notice will be used to help the Government to identify qualified sources capable of accomplishing the required work outlined in the attached Statement of Work under NAICS Code 423830 - Industrial Machinery and Equipment Merchant Wholesalers. All interested parties are encouraged to respond. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
