Description

The “Repair FTD Building Envelope” project includes infrastructure upgrades to ensure consistent operation of the Fort Thomas Domiciliary. These upgrades include the reparation of the degrading parapet roof with comprehensive waterproofing and structural repairs, integration of a compliant lightning protection system as well as the front patio accent wall restoration.

This construction project requires general contracting survey, and minor demolition of existing conditions, structural framing, waterproofing, electrical grounding and finishing services. This includes but is not limited to water infiltration, structural failure, lightning damage, and protection from environmental hazards such as moisture penetration, energy inefficiencies, and potential safety hazards.

Primary focus will be on the perimeters of the roof penthouses, roughly 700 LF.

The second part of the project correcting the deficiencies of the front patio accent wall by removing current accent wall and using a matching spray concrete for the entire perimeter of the exterior patio base, amounting to approximately 870 sq. ft.

The project requires a phased approach to ensure minimal disruption to Ft. Thomas operations. Work will be coordinated with the COR to schedule activities that may require temporary utility shutdowns, closures, or weekend work to prevent operational impact.

See attached Files “FtThomas” to show locations of interest for Ft. Thomas Penthouse repairs and front patio repairs.
