This is a Synopsis and fulfills the synopsis and advertising requirements prescribed in FAR Part 5 – Publicizing Contract Actions.
DLA Troop Support intends to issue an unrestricted solicitation for the manufacture and delivery of NSN 4130-01-425-5357 Filter Drier, Refrigerant. The approved sources coded for this item are listed below:

Adequate data for the evaluation of alternate offers is not available at the procurement agency. For alternate offers, the offeror must provide a complete technical data package including data for the approved and alternate part for evaluation.
The solicitation number is SPE8EG-26-Q-0001 and the contract will be a one-time large buy, definite quantity contract. Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Overhaul Part 12.201-1, Simplified Procedures will be utilized. The acquisition will be accomplished using Other than Full and Open Competition procedures in accordance with Revolutionary FAR Overhaul Part 12.102(b), Restricting Competition. The applicable statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C. § 1901, as implemented by Class Deviation 2026-O0028 – Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Overhaul Part 12, Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) Part 212, and Revolutionary FAR Overhaul Part 12.102(b), Restricting Competition.
The Government intends to purchase a quantity of 70 EA with a 100% quantity option. The offeror must provide pricing for both the base quantity and the quantity option.
Delivery will be FOB Origin. Inspection/Acceptance will be at Destination. The Government required delivery schedule will be 300 days after date of order. The Buy American Act clauses will apply.
Revolutionary FAR Overhaul Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services and Revolutionary FAR Overhaul Part 12.201-1, Simplified Procedures, for acquisition described at 12.001(c) will apply.
Price Only will be the evaluation factor.

The estimated release date of the solicitation is April 22, 2026 The date is subject to change.
