High Definition (HD) Hoist and Cabin Camera Systems

This is a Sources Sought notice only, not a solicitation announcement and is issued solely for informational and planning purposes. This posting is not a Request for Proposals (RFP) or a Request for Quotes (RFQ) and it is not considered to be a commitment by the Government to award a contract nor is the Government responsible for any costs incurred in furnishing information provided under this Sources Sought notice. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result of a response to this Sources Sought notice or Government use of any information provided. Further, the Government is not at this time seeking proposals or quotes and will not accept unsolicited proposals or quotes. No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response to this Sources Sought notice. The Government reserves the right to use any information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate, including using technical information provided by respondents in any resultant solicitation. Responses will assist the Government in determining the availability of potential solutions and commercial products in the market. At this time, no solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement.

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) is conducting market research to seek sources capable of providing High Definition (HD) Hoist and Cabin Camera Systems for its fleet of over 120 MH-60 and MH-65 rotary-wing aircraft that meet the requirements as outlined in Attachment 1 – 70Z03826IE0000004 High Definition (HD) Hoist and Cabin Camera Systems Requirements.

The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the future acquisition is 334511 – Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing. The size of business pursuant to NAICS 334511 is 1,350 employees.

Sources Sought Requested Response

All contractors interested and qualified to provide the High Definition (HD) Hoist and Cabin Camera Systems are invited to provide a response to this Sources Sought notice.

All interested parties shall complete Attachment 2 – 70Z03826IE0000004 Sources Sought Notice Response which will allow the USCG to understand your full capability to provide the High Definition (HD) Hoist and Cabin Camera Systems.

Responses to this Sources Sought notice are not a substitute for a response to any future solicitation. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation in addition to responding to this Sources Sought notice. A response to this notice is NOT a request to be added to a prospective offeror’s list or to receive a copy of the solicitation.
