PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE
Contracting Department, Marine Corps Installations East, has a requirement for fire extinguisher services aboard Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Beaufort, South Carolina.
Requirement Description:
1.The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform a twelve-year(12)hydrostatic test, a six-year (6) internal examination, and any required maintenance, repairs,testing, and recharging to seventy-six (76), 150-pound Amerex Wheeled Fire Extinguishers
(Item: 13J013; Mfr Model: 674)
2.The Contractor shall provide all services on-site at MCAS Beaufort, SC. Off-site maintenance,shipping, or removal of equipment is not permitted.
3.The Contractor must perform services in accordance with the following references:
•National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standard 10
•Standard for Portable Fire Extinguishers
•Amerex Manual for 150-pound Wheeled Fire Extinguisher
•OSHA Regulation 1910.157.
Contract & Acquisition Details
It is the Government’s intent to issue a firm-fixed-price contract. The proposed acquisition will be 100% Small Business set-aside. The Government anticipates awarding a contract for a three-month period of performance. The applicable NAICS code is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. The Small Business Size Standard is $12.5 million. The Government will solicit and award this contract in accordance with FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services).
To be eligible for award, contractors must have an active registration in the following systems:
1.System for Award Management (SAM): Registration is required to do business with and receivefunds from the federal government and can be completed at www.sam.gov.
