Description

Sealed Bids for the construction of the Raw Water System Expansion, Contract 19.3 – Raw Water Lines Phase 2 will be received, by the City of Laurinburg, at City Hall, 303 W. Church Street, Room 221, Laurinburg, North Carolina until 2:00 pm local time on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of constructing approximately 5,050 feet of 20-inch raw water line, 80 feet of 12-inch raw water line, and all appurtenances. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum or unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. The Issuing Office for Bidding Documents is Duncan Parnell (https://bidroom.duncan-parnell.com). Documents may be obtained for a purchase price as listed on their website. All payments are to be made to Duncan Parnell. Prospective bidders must purchase Bidding Documents directly through Duncan Parnell in order to be considered an official plan holder. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 am local time on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at the Laurinburg City Hall, 303 W. Church Street, Room 221, Laurinburg, North Carolina. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory. The City of Laurinburg is an Equal Opportunity Employer and invites the submission of proposals from minority and women-owned companies. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
