Sealed Bids for the construction of Contract 18.1 – Elevated Storage Tank Improvements, McKay Street Tank Rehabilitation will be received by the City of Laurinburg at City Hall, 303 W. Church Street, Room 221, Laurinburg, North Carolina 28352 until 2:00 PM local time on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of repair and recoating the 250,000-gallon McKay Street elevated storage tank. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum or unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. The Issuing Office for Bidding Documents is Duncan Parnell (https://bidroom.duncan-parnell.com). Documents may be obtained for a purchase price as listed on their website. All payments are to be made to Duncan Parnell. Prospective bidders must purchase Bidding Documents directly through Duncan Parnell in order to be considered an official plan holder. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. A pre-bid conference will be held remotely via Teams Video Conferencing at 10:00am local time on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory. To access the meeting email info@willisengineers.com requesting the Meeting ID and Passcode. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
