School Nutrition Training Conference 2026 FY26 School Nutrition Program Training Conference Item # 1: ( 981 - 52 ) The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) is seeking a single vendor to provide a venue for the ISBE Nutrition Dept 2026 School Nutrition Programs Annual Training. One main room that can accommodate up to 500 people for keynote session and lunch (rounds preferred) and 3 additional breakout room spaces for up to 200 people each (classroom style preferred). Meeting Dates: Wednesday, June 24th, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Thursday, June 25th, 2026, from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM are the preferred dates. If not available, any two consecutive days in a row the week of 6/22/26 will be considered. Location: Central Illinois - preferred cities are Peoria, Bloomington/Normal, or Springfield. Number of attendees anticipated: Wednesday, June 24th (half day): 400; Thursday, June 25th (full day): up to 500. Please see RFQ for additional details/needs. For Thursday, June 25th (full day), venue will provide sandwich boxed Lunch for up to 500 with a meat and vegetarian option, one side, one dessert and the ability to accommodate gluten-free. Venue will provide coffee, tea, and water throughout the day. Any server/staffing charges and service charges should be included in the catering total. ISBE is tax-exempt. Catering for the June 2026 SNP Conference provided by the hotel. For Wednesday, June 24th (half day), venue will provide coffee, tea, and water. For Thursday, June 25th (full day), we need AV cart with 2-3 screens for projecting presentation, podium, and microphone (lavalier preferred) in the main meeting room.
