LCA-Haircut Contract Rebid-DM Haircuts for Lincoln's Challenge Academy cadets in Rantoul, IL. Item # 1: Lincoln's Challenge Academy is looking for barber services to be provided to the Program at 212 W. Borman, Rantoul, IL 61866 for the next three years ending December 31, 2027. An initial hair cut during In-Processing and then haircuts every other week during the residential phase. The barber will work approximately 7-9 hours during in processing, and then 3-6 hours every other week of the residential phase. The new facility has a designated barber facility, designed as part of the project with the knowledge of the Federal Program Manager, CFMO representatives and LCA senior leadership. Two chairs will be provided at the designated barber shop as well as power, water and sink access. During In-Processing power access and temporary seating will be provided. Initial in processing requires approximately 150-200 male haircuts in an eight-hour period at 301 Dodge. The program will provide power access and temporary seating. Contractor to provide own sanitary supplies, razors, scissors. The exact number of haircuts expected will be provided 5 business days in advance, twice a year (January & July), by the LCA staff. During the residential phases JAN-JUN, JUL-DEC, approximately 80-90 male and 3-5 female haircuts are required in a six-hour period, once every two weeks. The program will provide two chairs, power, and water and sink access in the barber office at 212 W Borman. Exact bi-weekly requirements will be provided 5 business days in advance to the contractor by the LCA staff.
