Description

DOP PSU Uniforms HK ISP is procuring a contract for the as needed purchase of Officer and Guard uniform clothing. Item # 1: The Illinois State Police (ISP) Protective Services Unit (PSU) is seeking a vendor to provide short-sleeve and long-sleeve uniform shirts, uniform pants, patches, fur caps, and all-season jackets on an as-needed basis for the upcoming three (3) years. The quantity listed is a projection for evaluation purposes only and is not a guarantee for minimal purchase order. All quoted prices must be valid through June 30, 2027. All prices must include shipping and handling charges. No price increase will be accepted. In the event of a price decrease, the Agency is guaranteed to receive the lowest price. We reserve the right to reject all offers or to reject individual offers for failure to meet any requirement. Winning vendor will be selected based on low quote total. Orders must be received within 45 days after receipt of the order. Vendor agrees to a partial shipment in case of a delay on the total order. All deliveries must be received at 555 West Monroe Street, Suite 200 S, Chicago IL 60661, phone number 312-793-1572. Deliveries are accepted Monday-Friday 8:30am to 4:00pm; no weekend or holiday deliveries will be accepted. The Department reserves the right to request samples prior to award. Samples will be sent at the vendor's expense. If the vendor wants the sample returned, a prepaid label must be included in the package. All samples not returned to the vendor will be destroyed. Use of a brand name is for the purpose of describing the standard of quality, performance, and characteristics and is not intended to limit or restrict competition. "Or equal" submissions will not be rejected because of minor differences in design, construction or features that do not affect the suitability of the product for its intended use. Burden of proof that the product is equal is on the bidder. Bidders might be asked to provide a specification sheet or other suitable documentation which should include brand name, model name, and specifications for the product quoted. This should be of sufficient detail to enable the ISP to determine whether the product offered meets the requirements of this bid.
