DAT-Police Canines-SM The Illinois State Police is seeking a vendor to provide police K9's. Item # 1: The Illinois State Police (ISP) has determined a need for the procurement of 16 Full-Service Police Canines over the next two years. The ISP must purchase canines to ensure the unit is able to maintain the current number of teams. Each year a number of canines retire or are taken out of service due to age, injury or illness.
