EMA - Sandbag Machines The Illinois Emergency Management Agency - Office of Homeland Security is seeking bids for three (3) manual sandbag machines and one (1) automatic sandbag machine. Details are in the attachments Item # 1: ( 578 - 37 ) Manual Sandbag machine. Must produce between 700-900 bags per hour. Must have 2 augers. Must not weigh more than 10,000 lbs. Must have 4 chutes. Must be compatible with fill types of sand (wet and dry), gravel, mulch and soil. Must work with bag types made from polypropylene, polyethylene, canvas and geotextile. Must have a programable control system that provides precise runtime and fill adjustments. Automatic Sandbag Machine. Must produce 1,200 bags per hour. Must have a dual agitator.
