Renewal Notice - Forensic Psychologist for Identified Offender Program RENEWAL NOTICE THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION: The Agency is desiring to renew a contract with a vendor to conduct risk analysis and prepares a security recommendation for each person whose history of felony criminal offenses meets the provisions of the Act (PA094-0752), who is admitted into a nursing facility licensed by the Department. Item # 1: ( 952 - 59 ) Renewal Term 2 of 4 (24 months): The Nursing Home Care Act (210 ILCS 45/1-101 et seq), the IDD/D Community Care Act (210 ILCS 47/1-101 et seq) and the Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Act of 2013 (210 ILCS 49/1-101 et seq) require that facilities conduct background screening on all prospective admissions and notify the Illinois Department of Public Health of those residents who are Identified Offenders as defined in the Acts. A Risk Analysis and Security Recommendation for each case assigned by the Agency is required to be completed by a forensic psychologist for every Identified Offender. It is estimated that there will be 5000 cases during the 24-month contract period. Renewal Term 2 of 4 (24 months): The Nursing Home Care Act (210 ILCS 45/1-101 et seq), the IDD/D Community Care Act (210 ILCS 47/1-101 et seq) and the Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Act of 2013 (210 ILCS 49/1-101 et seq) require that facilities conduct background screening on all prospective admissions and notify the Illinois Department of Public Health of those residents who are Identified Offenders as defined in the Acts. The average hours per case = 8 hours; estimated number of cases = 500 during the 24-month contract period. 500 x 8 = 4000 hours Renewal Term 2 of 4 (24 months): For those individuals who are registered/convicted sex offenders and admitted into a nursing facility licensed by the Department, a Sex Offender Evaluation must be completed by a licensed Forensic Psychologist and must certified to conduct Sex Offender Evaluations in accordance with the Adult Sex Offender Evaluation and Treatment Code (20 Illinois Administrative Code 1905) and the requirements of the Illinois Sex Offender Management Board. The Department shall pay a firm price of $50.00 per hour for travel up to 7 hours round trip. Estimated number of cases = 500 during the 24-monh contract period. 500 x 5 hours = 2,500 hours. Renewal Term 2 of 4 (24 months): Travel round trip to in-person or remote interviews with offenders and hospital administrators. The Department shall pay a firm price of $50.00 per hour for travel up to 7 hours round trip. Estimated number of cases = 500 during the 24-monh contract period. 500 x 5 hours = 2,500 hours.
