National Airspace Data Interchange (NADIN) - Automated Weather Observation System (AWOS) Maintenance The Illinois Department of Transportation is seeking a vendor to provide weather data uplink services to the National Airspace Data Interchange Network (NADIN) for it's 38 non-fed Automated Weather Observation Services III P/T sites, with the potential to expand to 41 sites. The selected vendor will also provide maintenance services for these AWOS III P/T systems throughout the state to ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) maintenance requirements. Item # 1: ( 905 - 04 ) Year 1: NADIN and AWOS fees - Provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to perform maintenance and remote monitoring of 41 non federal monitoring AWOS III PT systems, including site repairs and maintenance, in accordance with the requirements specified in the IFB. The IFB solicitation estimate of 41 represents the maximum number of locations that may be serviced during the contract term. Actual billing must be based on the actual number of locations serviced during each billing period.
