D1 Harvey, IL Fence and Security Gate Installation REBID

District 1 fence repair, installation, and electric security gate installation in Harvey, IL. No subcontracting. The Bid opening has been extended. All bids must be submitted in BidBuy by 9/6/24 at 10:00 am.

Item # 1: ( 988 - 15 ) Remove & replace approximately 250 ft of 6 ft high galvanized chain link fence. Barb wire shall be attached with a minimum additional height of 1 ft. The chain link fence shall be 9 gauge. Terminal posts shall be at least 2.5" in diameter and lineal posts shall be at least 2". Posts shall be round and set into ground with cement to industry standards. Existing fence and gate shall be removed and disposed by the contractor.

Gate posts shall be at least 4" in diameter and 6 ft in height. Posts are to be set at least 4 ft in the ground and secured with cement.

Unit shall include at least a 5 year manufactory warranty. Electrical lines must be trenched through the asphalt from the existing electrical location to the gate and intercom. Vendor must have minimum of 2 years company experience with security fence install. No subcontracting. To be responsive, vendor must be able to bid and provide all items requested.
