Internet Egress Services

The Illinois Department of Innovation and Technology seeks to award (2) Vendor(s), per location, for Internet Egress Services. This a multiple award solicitation.

Item # 1: ( 838 - 33 ) Equinix 350 E Cermak, Chicago, IL Standard Service: (Committed Rate): Vendor must have the capacity to provide a minimum of 100G Internet Access with 20G Commit Rate. A minimum of 100G ports for internet egress connectivity means the use of network ports with a capacity of at least 100 gigabits per second (Gbps) to connect a network to the internet for outbound data traffic. The ports are used to transmit data from the network to the internet service provider (ISP) or other networks. Unit of issue month is estimated to be equivalent to 20,000 megabits. Vendor shall provide pricing by the unit of issue month. (Quantity is for evaluation purposes and for one year of service only. The State is not obligated to any minimum orders.) Initial Term: 5 Years

This assumes that the Vendor has provided a guaranteed minimum band width of 20 Gigabits per second (Gbps) for regular uses, with the ability to temporarily exceed that committed rate and utilize up to 100Gbps of band width during peak or high demand periods. Unit of issue month is estimated to be equivalent to 20,000 megabits. Vendor shall provide pricing by the unit of issue month. (Quantity is for evaluation purposes and for one year of service only. The State is not obligated to any minimum orders.) Initial Term: 5 Years
