IDOC MEN LIQUID LAUNDRY DETERGENT Menard Correctional Center is seeking to procure a Liquid Laundry Detergent Concentrate to supply the Department of Corrections. Item # 1: ( 505 - 35 ) Year 1 - 5 deliveries of 4400 gallons each, as requested. Liquid Laundry Detergent (Premium Laundry Detergent Concentrate) - All temperature product with a blend of anionic and non-ionic synthetic detergents. Physical State: Liquid. Appearance and Color: Clear blue liquid with no settling or separation. Solids: 32% minimum. Viscosity: > 500 cps. pH Value: 6 to 8. Flash point: >200 degrees F. Water Solubility: Complete. Product may not contain any fillers such as salt, sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, soda ash or urea. Product must rinse completely and leave laundry clean, bright, and soft. Product must have an easily detectable clean, fresh fragrance, and be clear, dark blue color, not cloudy. Stain Flag Performance Testing Must Be Submitted With Bid With An SRI (Stain Removal Index) Of > 375. Stains must include Aged Blood, Blood/Milk/Ink, Oatmeal/Cocoa, Soot and Starch. Product must contain these stain fighting enzymes: protease, cellulase. alpha-amylase, pectate lyase, and mannanase. Product shall be shipped in 55-gallon drums (no metric bung holes). Product must be shipped in accordance with industry standards to ensure product integrity during shipping in extreme weather conditions to protect from freezing or overheating.
