Emergency Final Costs - IBSP Lodge & Conference Center Mold Remediation This is NOT an open solicitation. This is public notice of the Final Costs for the emergency declared under B-49819. Item # 1: ( 926 - 78 ) The Illinois Department of Natural Resources (DNR) requires Emergency Services for mold remediation at the Adeline Jay Geo-Karis Illinois Beach State Park located in Lake County. Within weeks of the Lodge & Conference Center pool repairs and after the pool was filled with water visible mold growth was observed throughout the pool area. The inspection and samples identified mold growth on drywall, standing water near pool equipment, and cracked/broken windows. The most visible areas of mold are near the broken windows of the basement. Furthermore, a tape lift sample exhibited high levels of Cladosporium and Aspergillus/Penicillium in the drywall of the basement, first floor lobby, and second floor hallway.
