ISD- Track Surface Sealant The Illinois Dept. of Human Services are seeking bids for Track Field sealing. The surface of the track at the Illinois School for the Deaf needs to be sealed located at 125 S. Webster Avenue, Jacksonville, Il. Sealing the track is necessary to prevent deterioration, cracks, and uneven surfaces. Item # 1: ( 909 - 17 ) The Illinois School for the Deaf is seeking a vendor to seal the surface on the running track. Bidders must: Prime surface of the track using a mixture of polyurethane binder and solvent. Apply two separate applications of a structural spray coat at a rate of 3.1-3.8 LBS/SY. Spray coat shall be a mixture of polyurethane and EPDM rubber granules. Contractor shall provide an even spraying surface with no streaking or ponding. Track must have lane markings, numbers, stripes, etc. re applied once spray coat has cured. Line marking paint should conform to synthetic surface manufacturers specs. Maintain a clean and orderly job site with all debris removed daily and at the completion of the job. Take care not to damage grounds and structures at the facility. Specifications for this project will be attached as the SOW for Track. Please see attachment for more details.
