DHS SP Ludeman Medical Waste Disposal Serv FY26 The Dept. of Human Services is seeking a vendor to provide medical waste removal services for the Elisabeth Ludeman Center, 114 N. Orchard Drive, Park Forest, IL 60466. The term of the contract shall be last dated signature of the parties through June 30, 2028. Item # 1: ( 948 - 93 ) Medical Waste Disposal Services at the Elisabeth Ludeman Center, 114 N. Orchard Drive, Park Forest, IL 60466. The vendor shall pick up medical waste at multiple locations designated by the facility. Pickups shall be two times per month, depending on the facility's needs, and shall be between the hours of 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The vendor shall provide the required containers, plastic red bags, and sealing tape. The term of the contract shall be last dated signature of the parties or July 1, 2025, whichever occurs later, through 6/30/28. Pricing is per 4.5 cu. ft. biohazard box. Estimated 32 boxes to be picked up per month x 36 months = 1,152 boxes. The quantities are estimated and not a guarantee of the number of containers and pickups required.
