SM Pur w/SS DHS OPEH Summit FY26 Office to Prevent and End Homelessness Home IL Summit 2026 conference with AV. Small Purchase w/ Sole Source Conditions. Item # 1: ( 961 - 15 ) The Office to Prevent and End Homelessness (OPEH) is planning to host the Home Illinois 2026 Summit on May 12th and 13th, 2026. The conference must meet the following needs: Required conference dates: May 12th and 13th, 2026 (2 days) Springfield area Accessible location with parking availability (note- no proximity to Metro or Chicago Transit Authority, and no airport shuttle), Capacity for 600 person conference room with Audio/Visual (AV) support, Capacity for 600 person reception room for the evening of May 12th, Five breakout classrooms with AV for 120 people each, per day, Hotel/Location must be on the Travel Control Boards Preferred Hotel list, with direct billing for State of Illinois employees travel, Designated room block of 125 rooms for the first night and 20 rooms for the second night, Wireless Internet availability, ADA compliant single bathroom accessible building, Parking available onsite for the conference, Facility must adhere to all local health code standards, maintaining proper sanitation because Crowne Plaza Springfield is uniquely positioned to meet these programmatic and logistical requirements, this procurement is justified on the basis of programmatic, objective, and economic necessity for the success of the Home Illinois 2026 Summit.
