Description

On behalf of the Kronos Program Office, you are invited to participate in the Kronos Mission Catalyst Day, an industry engagement event focused on informing and shaping the future of the Kronos program through open dialogue with commercial solutions providers.

Purpose

The objective of Kronos Mission Catalyst Day is to engage industry in a two-way dialogue regarding the Kronos Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) and future opportunities to partner in delivering innovative commercial solutions for the Kronos Family of Systems.  Industry participants will have the opportunity to share feedback on innovative approaches, technologies, and partnerships that may inform future acquisition activities. The government will not discuss anything related to the on-going First Call of the CSO as that is selection sensitive information.

Description

Kronos Mission Catalyst Day will include government briefings, a moderated panel discussion, and interactive engagement opportunities designed to enhance shared understanding of program vision, mission context, and integration expectations.

Key events include:

  • Program overview and mission context
  • Kronos Panel Q&A Session (0900–0945)

Panelists include leaders from the Kronos Program Management Office (PMO), mission specialists, and representatives from the user community

  • 1-on 1 with the Kronos Team
  • Tabletop discussions

The event is intended for commercial solutions providers, small businesses, and non-traditional defense partners with interest in contributing innovative capabilities aligned to Kronos mission needs.

Background

The Kronos program is a United States Space Force (USSF) initiative to develop a modern, integrated battle management and command-and-control (C2) Family of Systems that enhances decision advantage for joint and coalition space operations. Kronos is designed to integrate modular, extensible, and interoperable software solutions that support operational planning, execution, and assessment across the space domain while modernizing legacy capabilities and enabling rapid integration of commercial innovation.

The Kronos Family of Systems is currently focused around three primary Areas of Interest (AOIs):

  • AOI 1 – Operational Command and Control (C2): Enables operational-level C2 capabilities supporting mission planning, coordination, execution, and shared situational awareness.
  • AOI 2 – Battle Management: Focuses on the orchestration and optimization of space domain resources, including planning, deconfliction, tasking, and mission assessment functions.
  • AOI 3 – Space Intelligence Integration: Provides intelligence and space domain awareness capabilities that support battlespace characterization, collection planning, targeting support, and enhanced understanding of the operational environment.

Kronos Mission Catalyst Day supports market research and industry engagement to inform future collaboration with commercial partners.
