Description
This notice is issued for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Quotation (RFQ) or a commitment by the U.S. Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract.
The solicitation has not yet been issued. The U.S. Embassy Singapore will post the official RFQ on the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) website when it becomes available.
The U.S. Department of State, U.S. Embassy Singapore, intends to issue a solicitation for a commercial event planning services to support the planning and coordination of the Embassy’s Fourth of July (Independence Day) Celebration in Singapore.
The requirement includes pre-event planning support beginning approximately 2-3 months prior to the event and day-of-event coordination.
All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered. The Government may award a contract based on initial quotations received without discussion, if deemed appropriate. The resultant award is anticipated to be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract.
Interested vendors who provide professional event planning services in Singapore are encouraged to monitor SAM.gov for the forthcoming RFQ notice.
SAM Registration Requirement:
All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submitting a quotation, in accordance with FAR 52.204-7. Legal and Regulatory Requirements:
Performance of this contract will take place in Singapore. Prospective vendors must possess all required local licenses, permits, and authorizations to operate legally in Singapore.
Contractors will also be responsible for complying with all applicable local labor, safety, and tax laws, and must ensure that any such obligations are satisfied prior to contract performance.
This acquisition will include DOSAR clause 652.242-73 – Authorization and Performance (AUG 1999).
