Description
The National Park Service, Interior Regions 3/4/5, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the Trail Replacement project for Indiana Dunes National Park (INDU) in Gary, IN.
Work will consist of providing all labor, materials, tools and other equipment necessary for removal/demolition of existing structures and replace with new construction of boardwalks and staircases at the trail location. We anticipate that work will begin in late summer of 2026.

PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $1M and $3M
TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by July/August 2026 with performance to begin in Aug/Sep 2026.
