PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineer (USACE), Philadelphia District (NAP), anticipates a requirement for a firm fixed-price service contract for this acquisition to procure services for the firefighting system onboard the Dredge McFarland inspected, tested, and certified for use. BASIS FOR SELECTION OF AWARD: Quotations will be evaluated on technical (capability of the products or services offered to meet the agencys needs), price, and past performance. A price realism analysis may be conducted by the government to determine if an offerorsproposed costs are realistic (too low). The agency will review prices to determine whether they are so low that they reflect a lack of technical understanding for the work to be performed.
