The contractor will complete services in support of meeting benchmark targets agreed to by HUD (Appendix A). The contractor shall comply with HUD "Guidelines for the Evaluation and Control of Lead-Based Paint Hazards in Housing" 2012, HUD Policy Guidance, Maine Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Chapter 424, and Maine CDC Lead Poisoning Control Act. Links to applicable regulations and policies are attached (Appendix B). Lewiston Lead Program Services Perform residential Lead based paint Inspection and Risk Assessments (LIRAs) in single and multi-family housing in Lewiston Take the minimum required dust and soil samples as needed for HUD compliance Analyze the lab results according to the stricter action levels of HUD or Maine DEP Provide signed Lead Reports for the file in compliance with both HUD and Maine DEP Provide Word document reports to the program for use when creating the work scope design or design modifications Complete follow-up inspections when requested to address any missed testing and provide report addendums Risk Assessment Updates When Risk Assessments reach a 12-month expiration before the hazard control work starts, Risk Assessment updates will be requested and billable according to description (A.)
