On or about 20 January 2026, the Government intends to issue a solicitation for “Gavins Point Nebraska Tailwaters Campground Cleaning Contract 2026-2031”. The solicitation will close on or about 19 February 2026. The solicitation is restricted to Small Businesses.
Site Visit:
A formal site visit will not be held; however, offerors are encouraged to make an on-site visit to the facilities and area prior to submittal of a quote.
Project Description:
This is a non-personal services contract to provide cleaning services to Nebraska Tailwaters campground, day use area, and surrounding areas below Gavins Point Dam located approximately four miles west of Yankton, SD on SD Highway 52. The campground has 43 camp sites, one comfort station with hot/cold water and showers, and flush toilets. Specific tasks required will be outlined in the Performance Work Statement contained within the Solicitation document.
The Period of Performance for this effort is a 12-month base year + five (5) 12 month-option years. The Active Period of Performance for each year of the contract consists of five (5) months between mid-May and mid-October (exact dates vary by contract year) during the time the campground is open to the public.
