Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is conducting market research to identify vendors capable of providing a Service Life Extension Program (SLEP) refit and maintenance services for an Eaton 9390 Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system located at the William S. Middleton VA Medical Center (VAMC), 2500 Overlook Terrace, Madison, Wisconsin 53705. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, and other resources necessary to perform the required services. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 811210 Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. The applicable Product Service Code (PSC) is J059 Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment Electrical and Electronic Equipment Components. Scope of Services Provide all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to perform a Service Life Extension Program (SLEP) refit for an Eaton 9390 UPS. Replace internal UPS electronics including Mini CSB, Static Switch, Power Modules, Control Board, Interface Board, Power Supplies, and Terminal Blocks. Replace forty (40) 390n Watt batteries. Clean contactors and inspect system components. Provide a one-year service plan including corrective maintenance coverage (7x24). Provide one year of parts and labor coverage. Provide guaranteed 8-hour onsite emergency response time. Equipment Information Equipment: Eaton 9390 UPS Serial Number: EF364CBB04 Location: Room D8207 Facility: William S. Middleton VA Medical Center, Madison, WI Performance Requirements Equipment must function in accordance with applicable industry standards including NEC, NFPA99, UL, OSHA, VA, and applicable Federal, State, and local codes. Equipment uptime must meet or exceed 95% availability during normal operating hours. Preventive maintenance must be performed in accordance with manufacturer specifications. Contractor must provide emergency repair services and required response times. Capability Statement Submission Interested vendors shall submit a capability statement demonstrating experience performing UPS maintenance, repair, or SLEP services. Capability statements should include company name, address, UEI or DUNS number, point of contact, business size under NAICS 811210, and socioeconomic status. Vendors should demonstrate experience servicing Eaton or equivalent UPS systems and provide qualifications of Field Service Engineers. Capability statements must be submitted no later than Friday, March 20, 2026 at 9:00 AM CST. Responses shall be submitted via email to Makena.James@VA.gov.
