ALBANS VA COMMUNITY LIVING CENTER, 179-00 LINDEN BOULEVARD, JAMAICA (QUEENS), NY 11425, WILL BE POSTING A SOLICITATION ON OR ABOUT March 13, 2026, FOR NYH REPAIR UNDERGROUND STORAGE. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 236220. The small business standard is $45 Million. The magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. A 20% Bid Bond must be submitted with the bid. Information regarding the scheduled site visit will be stated in the Solicitation. Solicitation materials consisting of the Information for Bid Details, Specifications, Drawings and Contract Forms will be available on https://beta.sam.gov in electronic format only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 2), New York Harbor Healthcare System (NYHHS) anticipates the award of a Firm Fixed-Price service contract to provide inspection, repair, and testing services to its underground fuel storage tanks (USTs). The Contractor must provide inspection, repair, and testing services inclusive of all labor, equipment, supplies, transportation, and incidentals at the following VA New York Harbor Healthcare System (NYHHS) facilities: Brooklyn VA Medical Center, 800 Poly Place, Brooklyn, NY 11209 Margaret Cochran Corbin (Manhattan) VA Medical Center, 423 East 23rd Street, New York, NY 10010 St. Albans VA Community Living Center, 179-00 Linden Boulevard, Jamaica (Queens), NY 11425 The work to be performed under this firm, fixed-price service contract and in accordance with these contract documents includes furnishing all necessary labor, materials, and incidental related work described in the Scope of Work requirements issued under this contract. This contract will establish a comprehensive inspection, repair, and testing service plan for the underground fuel storage tanks (USTs) located at VA New York Harbor Healthcare System facilities. The Contractor will be responsible for performing inspection, repair, and testing services for the USTs listed in the Scope of Work. The objective is to ensure the safe operation, regulatory compliance, and environmental protection of UST systems. All personnel assigned to work orders issued under this contract must be properly trained to work on UST systems and other applicable tasks.
