Description
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Caseware USA Inc. for the acquisition of Caseware IDEA software licenses. The purchase order will be made using procurement procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The vendor must provide software licenses and related support that provide/meet the following requirements:
The vendor shall provide 176 software licenses that allow IRS auditors to analyze taxpayer books and records, acquire taxpayer data, perform analysis on the taxpayer data, and improve audit integrity. The software licenses must also allow IRS auditors to import and to analyze different formats of taxpayer data and allow auditors to fully and comprehensively examine taxpayer data. The vendor also must provide maintenance and customer support for technical issues and security patch updates throughout the life of the purchase order.

Potential sources and interested parties who believe they can provide the service above are invited to submit a capability package in writing to louis.c.browniii@irs.gov no later than 4:00 PM EST February 9, 2026.

The Government will not seek additional information from your company if you fail to provide sufficient evidence of having a service capable of meeting the Government's needs. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
The Government will not cover any costs for any information or inquiry submitted as a result of this notice. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this acquisition is 423430. The small business size standard is 250 Employees.
