This notice is prepared IAW RFO FAR 5.1 and 12.201-1(c)(2).
THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS NOR QUATATIONS.

The Government intends to solicit this requirement directory from suppliers IAW RFO FAR 12.201-1(c)(2) for firm-fixed price service contract to repair two hot water generator tanks at Camp Zama, Japan. Anticipated award date is around 1 Apr 2026 (subject to change).

Description of Services: 
The contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, supervision, management, tools, equipment, transportation, materials, and any other items or services necessary to repair 2 (two) domestic hot water (DHW) generator tanks for the building (Bldg.) 951 Camp Zama (CZ), Japan. The service shall be included followings.
1. Preliminary Study
2. Operation of DHW supply system during replacement works
3. Replace DHW generator tanks
4. Modify steam supply/return, DHW supply/return and make-up water systems to be matched as new tanks

Notes:

Note 1: This project will be performed in its entirety in the country of Japan. The successful offeror must have valid licenses to perform work in the country of Japan.

Note 2: Personnel Qualifications.  The contractor shall be responsible for their employees have the following current and valid professional Japanese certification for the entire life of this contract.

•             Plumbing Technician (配管技能士)
•             Plumbing Construction Management Engineer(管工事施工管理技士)
•             Electrician Type 2 or above(第2種電気工事士以上)
•             Thermal Insulation Construction Technician(熱絶縁施工技能士)
