1 PUBLISHED IN THE MUSKOGEE DAILY PHOENIX ON February 17, 2026 & February 24, 2026 CITY OF MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA * * * * * * * * * ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDDERS Notice is hereby given that the City of Muskogee will receive sealed bids in the Office of the City Clerk at the Muskogee Municipal Building, 229 West Okmulgee Ave., Muskogee, Oklahoma 74401, until 1:30 p.m. CST, MARCH 11, 2026 for furnishing all labor and materials and performing all work necessary for: THREE RIVERS MUSEUM ENVELOPE MAINTENANCE PROJECT NO. 2026009 Sealing, Grouting, Point and Tuck, Parapet Wall Maintenance, and R-Panel Metal Roof Repairs. Bids will be opened in the 3rd floor Council Chamber, 229 W. Okmulgee Ave., Muskogee, OK 74401. Bidders must bid on all items of the contract. The whole work under this contract will be awarded as a single contract to the lowest responsible bidder for the work. No bid may be withdrawn for at least forty-five (45) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. Specifications are on file and can be seen at or obtained from the Project Department, City of Muskogee, 1401 S. B Street, Muskogee, OK 74403, (918) 684-6212, awallace@muskogeeok.gov . A Mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for 10:00 A.M. CST on March 3, 2026, in the Council Chamber Room, 3rd floor, City Hall, 229 W. Okmulgee Ave., Muskogee, OK 74401. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bidder's Bond, or Cashier's Check upon any solvent Bank or Trust Company, payable without reserve to the City of Muskogee, Oklahoma, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Bid security of the two (2) low bidders will be retained until approval of contract and execution of satisfactory bonds by the successful bidder, or until other disposition on the bids is made. mailto: awallace@muskogeeok.gov 2 Bonds required will be a Payment Bond, a Performance Bond, and Maintenance Bond, each in the full amount of the contract. The City will not accept letters of credit in lieu of any bond required herein. On Projects exceeding $50,000, bids shall be accompanied by a sworn statement that the bidders are committed to the goal of at least 50% of all salaries paid to employees shall be to bona fide residents of the City of Muskogee and the bidders will comply with the provisions of City of Muskogee Resolution No. 2392 provides for the use of Local Labor and would be a 5% recognized reduction of the bid price “although not a mandatory item.” If you do not choose to use, please include with your bid packet and affidavits as acknowledgement, but do not sign. The bidder (Proposer) must supply all of the information required by the bid and proposal form including completion of affidavits or the bid will be considered incomplete and therefore rejected.
