Description
The Government intends to release a firm fixed price request for proposal (RFP), sole source, to Textron Systems Corporation. CAGE 97384. RFP shall be for the manufacture for the following Joint Service Electronic Combat Systems Tester (JSECST) Circuit Card Assemblies.

The JSECST is a highly specialized electronic warfare system tester that provides automated end-to-end (ETE) functional testing of EC systems on operational aircraft, including the F-15, F-16, A-10, C-130, and CV-22 Osprey. This organizational-level (O-level) flightline system quickly determines the go/no-go status of aircraft-installed EC systems, including antennas, transmission lines, radomes, cockpit displays and controls, and communication buses, while also offering diagnostic capabilities for malfunctions. Textron Systems Corporation has designed, manufactured, and sustained JSECST and associated sub-assemblies for more than 20 years.

The current equipment manufacturer for this item is Textron Systems Corporation. CAGE 97384, which maintains its configuration by part number. The Government does not own any data, drawings, schematics, or any other releasable technical data in support of this requirement. As a result, Textron Systems Corporation. CAGE 97384 is the only known source with adequate knowledge of the performance requirements and possession of the required technical data and capabilities needed to produce this item and ensure compatibility of the equipment.
