Invitation To Bid: Main Street Lighting Bid/RFP Status: Closed - no longer accepting bids and proposals Bid/RFP Due Date: Friday, March 6, 2026 - 4:00pm Back to Bids/RFPs Project Background Petersburg Municipal Power & Light (PMPL) is seeking material supply bids for the purchase of decorative streetlight assemblies. The project will involve the procurement of fifteen (15) single-arm streetlight assemblies, including poles, arms, luminaires and accessories, and an additional two (2) luminaries as spares. PMPL reserves the right to adjust quantities based on final spacing determinations, engineering design, and budgetary considerations, and all supplied components must be fully compatible as a complete lighting system. Main Street Lighting Materials Bid Package Main Street Lighting Project Materials Addendum 1 Main Street Lighting Project Addendum 2 Scope of Material Supply The material supplier will be responsible for the following items upon award of this bid: Supply of all items in the bid schedule based upon the firm pricing and delivery dates as submitted. Suppliers shall deliver all items in accordance with the material specifications included in this bid package. Any deviations from the bid specifications may be submitted; however, all such deviations must be clearly identified, described, and justified within the bid submittal. The Petersburg Municipal Power & Light (PMPL) Utility Director reserves the right to accept or reject any deviations, or to waive non-conforming items if deemed to be in the best interest of PMPL. Failure to clearly identify deviations may result in the bid being deemed non-responsive. For all items in the bid schedule, a manufacturer’s cut sheet shall be provided to verify that the material specification is being met with the offered material/item. Shipping services shall include delivery of all items to the material staging site at Scow Bay Utility Pole Yard, Petersburg, Alaska 99833. PMPL will be responsible for offloading materials at the staging site. Shipping and delivery costs for all items shall be included in the bid prices. No additional shipping costs, delivery fees or fuel surcharges will be paid by PMPL. Agreement for purchase, supply and delivery of bid materials shall be finalized by a PMPL Purchase Order, referencing the winning bid submittal. All Contractors or Consultants wishing to download a Petersburg Borough Invitation to Bid or Request for Proposal must complete the Contractor Notification Form .
