Description
The U.S. Army Contracting Command – Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Natick Division, in support of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command – Soldier Center (DEVCOM-SC), Soldier Protection Directorate (SPD), intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis to Western Distributing Company located at 4955 Bannock ST, Dever, CO 80216 for Secure Sensitive Freight under the authority as prescribed in FAR 13.106(b)(1). . It is anticipated that the new contract will be awarded on or before 07 April 2026. SPD requires a commercially available armored transport service company capable of providing secure shipment of materials from DEVCOM-SC Natick, MA to customer intermediary located within MA. More specifically, freight service provider must be bonded and certified to carry United States Category III Securities within the state of Massachusetts, use a Level II armored truck that meets all security requirements and have a height that does not exceed 12’6” and is 48’ – 53’ in length; and Armed personnel must be trained, proficient and licensed in the use of weapons supplied by their employer.
