Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD BPA CALL

THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION.    

This synopsis is a NOTICE OF INTENT to award a BPA Call from an established BPA for Region 9 Trails and does not constitute a request for quotes or submission of any information in response to this notification. Only contractors with an active BPA for the respective zone will be eligible for this call order.

The USDA Forest Service (FS), Procurement & Property Services (PPS) is issuing this synopsis as a means of complying with the USDA’s policy in the Contracting Desk Book, section 413.303 Simplified Acquisition Methods – Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs). BPA calls over $25,000 require synopsis to the government point of entry, even if a synopsis was done at the BPA level. Exemption at FAR 5.202(a)(11) does not apply.
The USDA FS intends on awarding a BPA Call for Birdseye Trail Rehab for the Hoosier National Forest.

This procurement is restricted to the approved eligible companies. 

This requirement will be awarded as a BPA Call against the Region 9 Trails Blanket Purchase Agreements previously solicited on the Government Point of Entry (GPE) at https://sam.gov/content/home.  The government will not provide feedback or evaluations to companies regarding their submissions in response to this notice.

Work includes but is not limited to the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and transportation to perform all work listed on the schedule of supplies/services:

  • Trail maintenance work on this project consists of constructing rolling dips and placing aggregate on the trail.
  • The project can be found south of IN State Route 145, east of Birdseye, IN in Crawford County. Both project access points are located off Riceville Road and Rowland Road.
