Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs desires to lease approximately 5,400 RSF clinical space in Sarasota, Florida for use by VA personnel, furnishings, and equipment for the Sarasota Veteran Center Readjustment Counseling Service. Thirty (30) parking spaces are required. A lease up to 20 Years/ 5 years firm will be considered.  The space must be ready for occupancy no later than October 6th, 2026. The lease space must be fully serviced to include all utilities, landscaping, trash removal, and janitorial services.  Lease space within the following boundaries will be considered: North- Bee Ridge Rd. South- South Beneva Rd. East- Clark Rd. (FL. -&2) West- US Hwy 41  A market survey of offered properties will be conducted by VA staff. Interested offerors (owners, brokers, or their legal representatives) should submit site-specific information concerning their properties to Sibyl.Graham@va.gov by e-mail only no later than 3:00 PM on February 18, 2026, at the following:  Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 8 Attention: Sibyl Graham, Contracting Specialist E-mail: Sibyl.Graham@va.gov  Expressions of interest must contain the following information:  Building name and/or address and location of the available lease space. Number of spaces to be offered for parking space, fully serviced. Indicate whether the quoted rental rate includes an amount for tenant improvements and state   the amount, if any. Date of space availability Building ownership information and authorization from owner to offer the property if applicable Energy efficiency and renewable energy features exist within the proposed building List of services provided (Utilities, janitorial, pest control, security monitoring, etc.).  This requirement is currently housed in an existing leased space. The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. The Government is limited by law (40 USC 278a, as Amended 10-1-81) to pay no more than the appraised fair rental value for space.  Please note: This advertisement is not a solicitation for offers, nor is it a request for proposals.
