Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – New England District is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Notice for Chemical Vegetation Control Services, Hopkinton Lake, Hopkinton, NH and Everett Lake, Weare, NH

QUESTIONS REGARDING THE PROCUREMENT WILL NOT BE ANSWERED DURING THE PRESOLICITATION PHASE.  SUBMIT QUESTIONS TO THE CONTRACT SPECIALIST AFTER THE SOLICITATION AND ASSOCIATED DOCUMENTS HAVE BEEN POSTED.

THE WORK CONSISTS OF:

Furnish all labor, materials, transportation, permits, and equipment necessary to perform chemical vegetation control services at sixteen (16) locations within three towns around the Hopkinton Everett Lakes Project, totaling approximately 87.47 acres. The herbicide treatment shall be applied to all vegetation, including but not limited to woody vegetation, invasive plant species, noxious weeds, and/or grasses, on the rip-rap stone around the Hopkinton and Everett Dams, Canal, Weirs, and Dikes and to the vegetative growth in the Hopkinton Dam Spillway and areas of Elm Brook Park.

The areas to be treated include but are not limited to rip-rap stone slope embankments, rock interfaces, roadway edges, concrete structures, inlets, dikes, and spillways around the Hopkinton and Everett Dams as well as wooded areas.  All work shall be completed in accordance with the following Performance Work Statement.

This is not a request for quotes at this time.  The solicitation requirements and contract documents, to include instructions for submission, and the response date will be available on or about March 5, 2026.  Neither telephonic, mailed nor faxed requests for hard copies of this solicitation will be accepted.  The solicitation will only be available online; in order to download the solicitation offerors must access the Contract Opportunities website (www.SAM.gov). 

This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 561730 with a Small Business Size Standard of $9.5 Million.

ALL VENDORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. ANY VENDOR THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE SAM.GOV REGISTRATION WILL BE REJECTED AS NON RESPONSIVE.
