Description
The following is a Sources Sought/Request for Information notice. This posted notice is not a Pre-Solicitation or Solicitation document. The government is not currently soliciting bids, quotes or proposals at this time; however, reserves the right to do so at a later date. The Charleston SC VA Medical Center is seeking to identify potential sources for ceiling mounted patient lifts in accordance with VHA Directive 1116. Below are the requested U.S. MADE products ONLY:
- Must be able to handle a maximum load of 550 lbs.
- Must have a 2 x 12 V (2.4 Ah - 2.6 Ah), Valve-regulated lead-acid gel-type batteries. New batteries are provided by the supplier.
- Must have a battery charger that falls within SMP CC-10-43-24; 100-240 V AC, 40-60 Hz, max 600 mA , IRC (In-Rail Charging): CH01 FW7218M/24; 100-240 V AC, 50-60 Hz, max 500 mA.
- Lifting speed must be 50 mm/s (2 inch./s).
- Must have a lifting interval of 2050 mm (80.7 inch.
- Electrical functioning must me within 24V, 12A.
- Must have an intermittent operation of 10/90, active operation of max 30 sec.
- Must have an emergency lowering device.
- Must function between the temperatures of 50F – 122F.
- Must be compatible with LIKORALL/LIKO Rail system.
