Description

The Library of Congress (LOC) Exhibits Office (EO) seeks a highly experienced museum exhibition Framer to create custom, conservation grade frames, acrylic glazing, and support components as needed, for paintings on canvas. Contractor must also fit the paintings in the frames on-site at LOC prior to display and provide and attach hanging and security hardware to the frames, appropriate to secure the finished objects to the exhibit walls. The installation of the frames at the exhibit will be completed by LOC. The Contractor shall provide frame fabrication services for the Library of Congress.

Amendment 0001: The purpose of this amendment to the solicitation is as follows: 1. The proposal due date is extended from 12PM Noon ET 10/29/2025 to 12PM Noon ET 12/3/2025. 2. To revise Attachment J-2, Past Performance Questionnaire response due date from 10/29/2025 to 12PM ET 12/3/2025. 3. To incorporate the Question and Answers at Attachment J-5. 4. To revise the Period of Performance begin date from 12/1/2025 to 1/7/2026. 5. To revise the Statement of Work at Section C based on the questions received.

Amendment 0002: The purpose of this amendment to the solicitation is as follows: Due to receiving no acceptable proposals, this solicitation is hereby canceled. A new solicitation will be issued under a
new solicitation number.
