GAOA Bay Furnace Campground Paving Project Amendment 1: Updated Attachment 1 and Attachment 2. Updated Schedule of Items added as Attachment 4. Changes in statement of work and drawings are as follows: Cross sections for the roadway and campground spurs have been added. Cross sections show required 2’ wide shoulders. Thickness of pavement on campground spurs has been reduced to 2” thick. Numbered locations and lengths of campground spurs have been added to the drawings. Specifications for Full Depth Reclamation has been changed to Section 304, from Section 306. This is a much simpler process that should give us a better price and is what we originally intended. Allowable hours of operation have been changed to 06:00 to 18:00. The Schedule of Items – Quote Form has been changed to show the paving of the campground spurs as an alternate add. The time of year when the work can be done has been clarified. We would prefer the work to be done in the Spring before campground opening, and the campground opening can be delayed into early June if we have a six month notice of when the work will be scheduled. A site visit will be held on September 15, 2025 All questions are due no later than 22 September 2025. Send all questions to Paula Sales at paula.sales@usda.gov
