The parking garage is located between Pine and Ash Street along Canal Park Street. The facility is owned by the City of Lewiston. The Centreville Parking Garage is a six level parking facility that was constructed in 1980. The capacity is approximately 360 cars. The garage is approximately 380 feet long by 113 feet wide. The levels are staggered and are approximately 57 feet wide. The garage combines a cast-in-place frame with a pre-cast T deck on level 3 through 6. Levels 1 & 2 are paved on grade. The building has cast-in-place ramps on the east and west ends. There are three stair towers, one at the east and west as well as one in the middle of the garage. The garage was constructed with two expansion joints. Personal and business checks will not be accepted. A Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, preferably executed on AIA Bond Form Number A311, in an amount equal to the total contract price, of a surety company satisfactory to the Purchasing Agent, will be required of the successful bidder. The Contractor shall furnish proof of coverage with adequate insurance of the types and to the limits specified in the bid specifications naming the City of Lewiston as additional insured. Certificate of such insurance shall be filed with the Purchasing Agent for his/her approval before permission to commence work will be granted.
