Description

STATEMENT OF WORK
The contractor shall provide all services, labor, travel, transportation, material, shipping, parts,
connections, and equipment necessary for provision and on-site installation of equipment to
provide a minimum of two Vision 1327 Cart and Utensil Washer/Disinfectors located at 4801
Linwood Blvd, Kansas City MO 64128. The cart washer/disinfector equipment are needed to
support Sterile Processing Service (SPS) for reprocessing sterilization compatible containers and
transportation carts used for transportation of reusable medical devices (RMD) used in invasive
procedures. They are needed to support medical procedures and surgeries in the operating room,
dental services, procedural gastroenterology, procedural pulmonology, and surgical clinic
procedure.
The contractor shall also provide training to clinical staff prior to equipment use, capturing all tours
of duty for the sterile processing department. The contractor is responsible for removing and
disposing of all debris and packing material left from the installation of the ultrasonic equipment.
The contract includes two Vision 1327 Cart and Utensil Washer/Disinfectors, full installation
services to include necessary installation components and post installation check-out test with
completion of any necessary adjustments.
2. SPECIFICATIONS
 Minimum of two cart and utensil washer/disinfectors shall have minimum individual
dimensions of 109 inches (H) x 120 inches (W) x 130 inches (D).
 The cart and utensil washer/disinfector must be capable of reprocessing at minimum two
heavy case carts and large racks for reprocessing utensils and containers.
 The cart and utensil washer/disinfector must be floor-mounted above the finished floor.
 The cart and utensil washer/disinfector must be steam heated.
 Emergency stop/disconnect capabilities.
 The cart washers must support the following utility requirements:
o Electrical: 460-480 V, 3Phase, 60 HZ, 3kW; 13.5 AMPS; 4000 BTU/HR.
o Auto Drain Valve Electrical: 120 V, 60 Hz.
o Steam Consumption Per Cycle: 14 kg (31lb).
o Hot Water Consumption Per Cycle: 53L (14 U.S. gal).o Air, high pressure 85 psi max.
o Noise Level: 65 dBa.
 The max operating weight of the unit cannot exceed 7483 lbs per washer/disinfector.
 The ultrasonic irrigators must adhere to industry standards for AAMI/ANSI, OSHA, etc.
 Documented FDA approval, as applicable.
