PRE-SOLICITATION REVISION-1 Solicitation: 36C25226B0020 Project: 578-26-004 IDIQ Abatement Services Place of Performance: Hines VA Hospital 5000 S. 5th Avenue Building 200 Hines, IL 60141-5000 The action is a pre-solicitation notice of a forthcoming construction FAR 14 Invitation for Bid solicitation for Project 578-26-004 IDIQ Abatement Services with a five-year ordering period. THIS ACTION HAS BEEN CHANGED FROM A 100% SMALL-BUSINESS SET-ASIDE TO A VETERAN-OWNED/SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS set-aside. The primary objectives of this contract are to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and qualified supervision necessary to conduct asbestos abatement and disposal, lead-based paint removal and disposal and firestopping. The maximum value of all task orders and++associated modifications WILL NOT EXCEED $2.5 MILLION. The magnitude of task orders placed under this IDIQ ranges from $2,000 to $500,000. This project is classified under NAICS Code: 562910 Remediation Services with a small-business size limit of $25 Million. All work must be coordinated in a manner of performance least likely to interfere with the daily operations of the hospital. Work hour requirements are included in the specifications In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of the offer, and prior to award of any contract, the offeror must represent to the CO that it is: (1) SDVOSB OR VOSB eligible under VAAR Subpart 819-70; (2) Small Business concern under the NAICS 562910; and (3) Certified SDVOSB listed in the SBA certification database at https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/ (see 13 CFR 128). Additionally, all eligible firms must be registered and current in the System for Award Management (SAM) database in order to be evaluated and eligible for contract award. If the firm is not registered in SAM, you may register online at https://www.sam.gov. The solicitation (including any/all specifications and drawings) will be posted to www.SAM.gov Contracting Opportunities (SAM.gov | Contract Opportunities via search 36C25226B0020 ), on or about April 9, 2026.
