This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation number 12FPC426Q0019 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for USDA NRCS Ohio Appraisal Reports.
This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 531320 Office of Real Appraisers The small business size standard is $9.5 Million This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
Statement of Requirement
The United States of America, acting through the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is seeking to procure conservation easements to assist the landowner in protecting, restoring, and enhancing the original hydrology, native vegetation, and natural topography of eligible land, to restore and protect the functions and values of wetlands in the agricultural landscape, help achieve the national goal of no net loss of wetlands, and improve the general environment. These lands may be placed under a conservation easement through ACEP-WRE.
All appraisals completed for this program must comply with Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and appraisal instructions as issued by NRCS. ACEP-WRE appraisals are market value as is appraisals of the easement area. A conservation easement value is not needed for ACEP-WRE.
